Kemper Director and Chief Curator, and Angela Miller, professor of art history, Department of Art History & Archaeology in Arts & Sciences, will focus on Sam Durant’s critical and visual inquiry into the unequal and violent history of white Americans and Native Americans, how this history has been written in the past, and the ways in which American history and culture are addressing it today.
