The second annual Kemper Presents Spring Concert Series, which is sponsored by KDHX, features free live concerts from St. Louis musicians on Fridays throughout the spring. Brothers Lazaroff play a unique blend of laid-back, soulful roots music with a diverse lineup of musicians. Sample sounds of all the Kemper Presents performers on the Kemper Presents 2009 playlist at the Museum's YouTube Channel.
Kemper Presents concert attendees are encouraged to bring unopened jars of peanut butter or jelly and a suggested donation of $5 at the door to benefit LiveFeed and City Faces.
LiveFeed has partnered with the Kemper Art Museum for their upcoming concert series. Together, they will support the LiveFeed programs as well as an initiative through the City Faces program to provide dinner to children who are involved in their weekly classes. LiveFeed is a grassroots, non-profit organization whose mission is to engage the live entertainment industry in a way that makes a profound and lasting impact on local, child-focused hunger relief.
