Participants in this collaborative workshop between the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum and Laumeier Sculpture Park will explore how American artists, from the nineteenth-century landscape painters to contemporary sculptors, have drawn inspiration from the natural world, exploring issues of identity, place, and the intersection between nature and the built environment. Refreshments and lunch will be provided; registration is required.
