Art Night Out is an evening of social gathering with conversational programs on topics related to modern and contemporary art taking place at multiple locations. Hosted by the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum and Saint Louis Art Museum, participants will hear from invited speakers at each stop and enjoy refreshments. 

Art Night Out on May 17 will explore German Expressionism and conservation science. The program will begin at the Kemper Art Museum from 5:30 to 6:30 pm and then proceed to the Saint Louis Art Museum from 6:45 to 7:45 pm. Speakers include Sabine Eckmann, William T. Kemper Director and Chief Curator, Kemper Art Museum; Courtney Books, assistant paintings conservator, Saint Louis Art Museum; and Melissa Venator, assistant curator of modern art, Saint Louis Art Museum.

Snacks provided; drinks for purchase. Free and open to the public. Registration is required.

Art Night Out on July 26 will explore everyday materials in contemporary installation and sculpture in Kahlil Robert Irving: Archaeology of the Present at the Kemper Art Museum, Currents 123: Tamara Johnson at the Saint Louis Art Museum, Paul Chan: Breathers at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, and Delcy Morelos: Interwoven at Pulitzer Arts Foundation.
